Readwise Reader cleanup view

Today created a “CleanUp”-view in readwise. I have used a lot of reader apps (Instapaper, Pocket, etc ) and RSS feed applications (NewsBlur, Google Reader, etc ). What I learned from this is that it quickly becomes a collection place with lots of unread articles.

To keep Readwise clean and relevant, I implemented a view “CleanUp”.

This view will show:

only articles in “INBOX”
Saved more than XX months ago. (Currently I set it to 2 months)
Have no highlights

The query is defined as follows

`1`	`in:inbox AND saved__before:"2 months ago" AND has__not:highlights`

If they are not read after 2 months, I was probably not ready to process the information.

Obsidian Bookmarks

I watched the following YouTube on Obsidian bookmarks.

Obsidian bookmarks allows you to create a collection of easy shortcuts to notes you are currently actively working on.

With Bookmarks you can

Save ‘filtered’ graphs
Specific notes
Searches
Canvas boards

All in one place. Once you move on to different projects/notes, you can delete the bookmark folder. The notes will remain and your workplace will remain clean!

Bitwarden

I mostly use complex unique passwords in combination with MFA when possible. To safe my passwords I use Bitwarden. I use it on my Computer, as a browser plugin and my phone/tablet.

For MFA authentication App I have chosen for Authy. Authy however I never install on my computer.

Starting Windows terminal CLI

Since the beginning I started working with computers I always found one the most effictive productivity hack is to start a program by it’s name. This you can do from CLI or from the Windows Run box. With Windows 11 the Windows Terminal is becomming the standard terminal.

So time to add it to my shortlist wt.exe

Simple, fast!
